If it's a Ubisoft game, check if they have any specific partnerships with Xbox. Sometimes, they include their games in Uplay+ first.
I wouldn't count on it being on Xbox Game Pass right away, especially if it's a major AAA title. These often take a while before joining the service.
I'd say keep your fingers crossed, but don't hold your breath. Unless they're using it to boost subscriptions, it's all up in the air.
