Nope, Facebook doesn't plan to charge its users. They make plenty from all those ads we love to hate.
Don't worry about Facebook charging. They've managed to keep the service free and will likely continue to do so.
I joined Facebook back in 2009 and it's still free! No need to worry about being charged anytime soon.
