Yup, it got the live-action treatment back in 2017 with a sequel in 2018. Definitely worth checking out if you love Gintama.

Actually, Gintama already has a live-action series! It premiered in 2017 and stars Shun Oguri as Gintoki. It's pretty wild and does a decent job capturing the anime's spirit.
