Considering how awesome Splatoon 2 and 3 are on the Switch, I doubt a re-release of the first game is on their radar. Why go for the appetizer when the main course is so tasty?
Hot take: With Splatoon 2 and 3 being such hits, there's really no need for a Splatoon 1 re-release on Switch.
As someone who's clocked endless hours on all three games, I鈥檇 say it鈥檚 unlikely. Nintendo's focused on new experiences, not remaking old ones.
