Yeah, Shiny Ditto will transform into whatever Pokémon you encounter, but it won't be shiny after transforming. Bummer, right?

I caught a Shiny Ditto last month hoping for shiny transformations, but alas, it just turns into the normal version of whatever Pokémon.

Nope, a Shiny Ditto will transform into the regular version of the Pokémon it copies. Basically, no special sparkles after it transforms.
