Short answer: No. Sleep mode means your PC's off to dreamland, and so are your downloads.

Actually, downloads do indeed pause in sleep mode. Your computer basically takes a little nap and stops all activities, including downloading. If you're looking to download games overnight, best keep that PC awake!
