Nintendo has announced they'll be shutting down Super Mario Maker's Wii U servers on March 31, 2021, but the game is still up and running on Switch and 3DS!

The Wii U version servers are indeed offline, but you can still enjoy creating and sharing levels on the Nintendo Switch with Super Mario Maker 2.
