Sadly, the devs have stated multiple times that they have no plans to add multiplayer to Subnautica. Guess we'll have to explore alone!

From what I've seen, multiplayer just ain't in the cards for Subnautica. Time to cozy up with your Prawn suit solo!

Hot take: Subnautica doesn鈥檛 need multiplayer. The single-player experience is richly immersive and honestly, adding other players might ruin the atmosphere.
