Absolutely, the Pokemon TCG has been known to surprise us with shiny variants in the past, especially with the 'Shiny Vault' subset in the Hidden Fates series. Given the popularity and demand for shiny Pokemon in the video games, it's only a matter of time before we see more ultra shiny cards in future expansions. Keep an eye out for announcements from official Pokemon TCG channels!

Nah, I doubt it. The shiny cards are cool and all, but I think they'll keep them as rare as they are to maintain the hype. Why fix what ain't broken?

As someone who's been collecting since the first Base Set, I've seen the TCG evolve in crazy ways. Shinies have always been a fan favorite, so I'm pretty confident the Pokemon Company won't miss the chance to release more ultra shiny cards. They know we can't resist 'em!

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
