What is float value in CS:GO?

Float value in CS:GO refers to the wear and tear level of your weapon skin. It's a number between 0 and 1, where 0 means the gun looks brand new (Factory New), and 1 means it's really worn out (Battle-Scarred). The closer to zero, the cleaner and shinier your skin will look in-game.

Float values? More like 'how much swag does my gun have?' Lower float = more swag.

It's just a fancy term for how scratched your gun looks. Lower = better.

Basically, think of float value like miles on a car. Lower miles = better condition = higher value. Same with CS:GO skins: lower float value, better condition!
