What is ghosting in CS:GO?

Ghosting in CS:GO is when someone who's either spectating or already knocked out of the game gives real-time information about the enemy's positions and actions to the players still in the game. It's like having a ghostly informant on your team, except it's frowned upon because it's pretty much cheating the system. Imagine having a buddy who's invisible, sneaking around the enemy camp, and then whispering their secrets to you. That's ghosting.

Ghosting? That's basically cheating without hacking. If you're dead or spectating and telling your alive teammates where the enemies are, congrats, you're ghosting. Not cool.

Honestly, ghosting isn't that big a deal. If you're not in a super competitive match, it can be just a bunch of friends having fun. But yeah, in ranked, it's a no-go.
