What is the Best Starter Pokémon in Pokémon Scarlet?

It's gotta be Sprigatito! Not only does it have the charisma to charm any trainer, but its evolution path shows a lot of potential for both attack and speed stats. Plus, let's not forget, it becomes a Grass/Dark type, which is pretty unique and useful in a variety of battles. Who wouldn't want a stealthy cat lurking and ready to pounce?

Fuecoco, hands down. Fire types always have an edge early game, and Fuecoco turns into a Fire/Crocodile powerhouse. The chill vibe and the fact that it basically becomes a walking volcano is just cool. Plus, fire always has that edge in early gyms. Burn through the competition, literally!

Quaxly is the best, no contest. It's a duck in a hat, what's not to love? Plus, its final evolution gets the Water/Fighting type, which is a great combo. I've used Quaxly, and it balances out a lot of teams with its versatility. Don't underestimate this dapper duck.

Honestly, it's all about your personal play style. There's no 'best' since each has its strengths and counters different challenges in the game. Choose the one you like the look of!
