In Pokemon Violet, the gym leader order isn't as linear as in previous games because of its open-world format, but if you're looking for a traditional path, most folks seem to start with Brassius in Cortondo (Bug-type), then head to Kathryne in Artazon (Grass-type), Iono in Levincia (Electric-type), Kofu in Cascarrafa (Water-type), Larry in Medali (Normal-type), Ryme in Montenevera (Ghost-type), Tulip in Alfornada (Psychic-type), and finally, Grusha in Glaseado (Ice-type). It's more about your journey and how you want to tackle them, though!
