Actually, if you're looking for a twist, get yourself a Galarian Slowpoke. That one evolves into Galarian Slowbro with a Galarica Cuff, not by leveling. But for your regular Kantonian Slowpoke in Pokemon Violet, it's level 37, straightforward.
