What order should I fight the gyms in Pokemon Violet?

In Pokemon Violet, there's no set order you have to follow thanks to its open-world format. This means you're free to challenge the gyms in any order you prefer. However, if you're looking for a bit of a smoother difficulty curve, starting with the Cortondo Gym (Bug type) and then moving on to the Artazon Gym (Grass type) could give you a nice, gentle intro. From there, you might want to hit up Levincia (Electric type), then Cascarrafa (Water type), Medali (Normal type), Montenevera (Ghost type), Alfornada (Psychic type), and finally, Glaseado (Ice type). This path might help keep your hair from turning prematurely gray!

Just yeet yourself at the closest gym and go from there. Honestly, the open-world setup means you can literally do whatever. If you wipe, grind a bit and try again or go somewhere else. It's all good!

Honestly, the best order is the one that feels right for you. I started with the Medali gym because I caught a Pokémon early on that was super effective against Normal types. Made my experience pretty unique and I enjoyed figuring it out as I went.
