Don't underestimate Tera Shards; they're game changers. Literally turned my Pikachu into a Ground-type and it swept through Electric gyms like a storm. Collect and use them wisely!

You use them to change your Pokémon's Tera Type. Simple as that.

Tera Shards are totally rad because they let you change the Tera Type of your Pokémon in Pokemon Scarlet! Visit a special NPC called the Terastalized NPC in Medali's Pokémon Center. Collect enough shards of the type you want, and bam - new Tera Type for your beloved Pokémon. Imagine making your fiery Charizard into a sparkling fairy type. Wild, right?
