What will happen to skins in CS:GO 2?

No official word yet from Valve, but it's safe to assume your skins will carry over to CS:GO 2. They know skins are a big deal for players, so it'd be wild if they didn't let us keep our collections. Can you imagine the uproar if they didn't? Plus, it makes sense from a business perspective to keep the player base happy and engaged by allowing them to keep their hard-earned or invested cosmetics.

I heard from a friend who's pretty deep into the CS:GO scene that skins will most likely transfer over. Dude's usually right about this stuff, so I'm not too worried. Why would Valve want to mess with a system that's clearly working?

Don't count your chickens before they hatch. Valve hasn't said anything concrete about skins in CS:GO 2 yet, so we could all be in for a surprise. It's Valve we're talking about, after all.

Everyone's freaking out for nothing. Of course, the skins will transfer. Valve knows that's where the money is. They're not gonna just toss out that revenue stream.
