Coby makes his first appearance right at the start of the series! You can catch him in Episode 1 of the anime or Chapter 2 of the manga. He's the small, pink-haired kid who gets caught up with Alvida before meeting Luffy.
Coby's glow-up is real! He shows up again later, way more confident and skilled. Keep an eye out during the Water 7 Saga, and you'll see what I mean!
Honestly, Coby? Not my favorite. But yeah, he's there from the get-go if you're into his story.
