Magikarp evolves into Gyarados at level 20 in Pokemon Scarlet, just like in the previous games. So keep grinding those battles to transform your splashy pal into the fearsome dragon!

Honestly, evolving Magikarp at level 20 feels like forever. But trust me, once you get Gyarados, it's totally worth the wait! Caught mine near a lake and it was a game-changer in battles.
