Personally, I felt the animation quality dip during the Fishman Island arc. It kinda felt rushed and lacked the detail of earlier arcs. But, it picked up again, so hang in there if you're watching!

One Piece's animation quality has its ups and downs, but saying it gets 'bad' might be a bit harsh. The most noticeable dips in quality tend to happen during long arcs or filler episodes. The Dressrosa arc, for example, has been critiqued for its pacing and animation inconsistencies. But remember, beauty (or in this case, animation quality) is in the eye of the beholder!

Imo, the animation gets a bit wonky during the Punk Hazard arc. Some episodes are good, some not so much. But don't let that stop you, the story's too good to miss out on!

Hot take: One Piece animation never really gets 'bad.' Sure, it changes and some might not like certain styles or pacing, but overall, it stays pretty solid. It's all about the journey, not just the visuals!
