Honestly, One Piece is solid from the get-go, but the Alabasta Saga (episodes 62-135) is where things get real serious. That's when the animation starts getting better, and the storytelling dives deep. It's all upward from there!

I鈥檇 argue the quality of One Piece isn鈥檛 about the animation or art鈥攊t鈥檚 the story that really shines. Sure, the animation improves over time, but even early episodes have that magic. Stick with it, and you鈥檒l see.

One Piece starts off with a bang, but if you're looking for when it really hits its stride quality-wise, I'd say around the Arlong Park arc (episodes 31-44). The storytelling depth, character development, and animation noticeably improve. However, the real game-changer is the Water 7/Enies Lobby arc (episodes 229-312). This is where One Piece truly becomes a masterpiece, combining incredible emotion, epic battles, and stunning visuals.

If you're a One Piece fan, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Crunchyroll gift card, which you can win and use to stream anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
