Check your mouse settings in Windows too. If you've got some fancy mouse software, it might be set to do weird things when you click certain buttons or flick it a certain way. Had a buddy who set his mouse to minimize everything with a side button. Mid-game flicks were... interesting.

Just play in full screen. Problem solved.

Sounds like your mouse might be wandering off the game window, especially if you're playing in windowed or borderless mode. Try switching to full screen mode in the game settings. This locks the cursor inside the game window, so even the wildest flicks won't send you back to your desktop!

Honestly, might be time to check if your PC is getting too excited with alt-tabbing on its own. Maybe some keyboard cleaning is overdue?
