When to evolve Pikachu in Pokemon Scarlet

Evolving Pikachu in Pokemon Scarlet really depends on your gameplay style! If you're after that raw power and improved stats, then evolve it into Raichu with a Thunder Stone as soon as you can. But, if you're in it for the long haul and want Pikachu to learn a few more moves before it evolves, wait until it's around level 30 to 36. Pikachu learns some pretty neat moves that Raichu doesn't, so timing is everything!

I waited until my Pikachu hit level 42 before evolving it, just so it could learn Thunderbolt naturally. Sure, you can use TMs but it felt right letting it learn that move on its own before becoming a Raichu. Totally worth it for the bragging rights!
