No Groudon in Scarlet or Violet, folks. You're barking up the wrong tree if you're hoping to catch it in these games. Time to dust off those older games or maybe hope for a future DLC, but as of now, no Groudon.

I searched every inch of the Paldea region in Pokemon Scarlet hoping to find Groudon; it's not there. I think it's clear that some legends are just meant to stay in the past (or in this case, previous games).

Groudon, the legendary Pokemon from Gen III, doesn't actually make an appearance in Pokemon Scarlet or Pokemon Violet. The games bring their own set of legendaries, like Koraidon for Scarlet and Miraidon for Violet, but sadly, Groudon isn't part of the Paldea adventure. If you're looking to catch this iconic land titan, you might have to revisit the older games where it originally appeared!
