tbh just look around trees. Pineco ain't that hard to find if you're in the right spot.

Caught mine near a bunch of trees outside a small town! Pineco isn't picky but loves those tree-rich spots. Just wander around any forested area for a bit, and you're bound to run into one.

In my experience, Pineco prefers the quiet spots near trees away from the hustle and bustle of the cities in Pokémon Violet. Took me a while, but patience pays off. So, if you haven't found one yet, don't worry, just keep looking!
