You can snag some battle items by exploring towns and talking to NPCs. Some give them away as gifts! Also, check out Poke Marts in each town; they often have a section for battle items. Don't forget to take on trainers and complete quests; sometimes they reward you with those precious battle items.

Hit up the Delibird Presents shops scattered across Paldea. They stock a variety of battle items that can really give you an edge. Also, rummaging through Poke Balls found in the wild can sometimes yield battle items too.

I've personally found that the best way to stock up on battle items in Pokemon Violet is by grinding battles against wild Pokémon. Not only do you level up your squad, but you also occasionally snag items after battles. Plus, there are specific areas in the game where certain items drop more frequently, so keep an eye out and explore a lot!
