Tinkatink, that adorable little fairy/steel-type Pokémon, likes to hang out in grassy areas early in the game. Start your search in the South Province (Area Two), especially around the fields. You might have to wander around a bit, but keep an eye out, and you'll spot Tinkatink hopping around soon enough!

lol just roam around the south, can't miss it. these little guys are everywhere once u start looking.

Honestly, found mine totally by accident while trying to catch a Pawmi. Wasn't even in the main grassy spots everyone talks about, but more to the side near a tree. So, my hot take? Don't just stick to the 'common spots' - Tinkatinks seem to pop up in less expected places too.
