Actually, Totodile is not naturally available in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. You'll need to resort to trading with a friend or using the Surprise Trade feature to get one. It's a bit of a bummer, but trading has always been a core part of the Pokemon experience!

Good luck finding Totodile in Violet... because you can't! It's not in the wild in this game. You might need to trade with someone from another game if you're set on getting this little water dude in your team.

Totodile, the adorable little water croc, isn't just wandering around every corner in Pokemon Violet. You'll actually have to look for it in the wild areas that have bodies of water. Think along the lines of rivers and lakes, especially in the early parts of the game. One tip: make sure you've got your sneaking skills down, because you'll need to approach quietly to catch this slippery critter!
