Where to Paste CS:GO Config?

To paste your CS:GO config, you want to navigate to your local CS:GO folder, usually located at 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\csgo\cfg'. Once you're there, just drop your config file (commonly named 'autoexec.cfg') into this folder. Restart your game, and you should be good to go. This is super handy for keeping your settings consistent or when you're switching to a new PC!

I'll play devil's advocate here. Why mess with configs? The default settings are there for a reason, and adjusting them can lead to inconsistencies. Just learn to play the game as is and focus on improving your skills. Plus, you risk messing something up if you start fiddling with game files.

Just drop it in the cfg folder. Boom. Done.

Based on personal experience, make sure you actually enable the config by typing 'exec autoexec.cfg' in the console after you drop it in the cfg folder. Spent hours wondering why mine wasn't working until I realized I skipped this step. Facepalm moment for sure, but maybe it'll save someone else the headache!
