Where to put the CFG file in CS:GO?

Just drag and drop it in the 'csgo\cfg' folder, easy peasy. If you can't find your Steam folder, do a quick search on your PC. Trust me, it's there!

Honestly, why bother with CFG files? Just tweak your settings in-game. Much simpler.

To use a CFG file in CS:GO, you'll want to place it in the cfg folder located within your game's installation directory. Typically, this is found in the 'Steam\steamapps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\csgo\cfg' folder. Just drop your .cfg file there, and you're all set! Remember, you might need to execute the config file in-game using the console command 'exec filename.cfg' for it to take effect.

Been there, done that! Make sure it's in the right folder, or it won't work. Had to learn the hard way after spending hours wondering why my custom binds weren't doing anything. Drop it in the 'csgo\cfg' folder, and don't forget to execute it in-game. Game-changer!
