Whether you’re a casual gamer or a dedicated one, discovering which Nintendo Switch suits your needs and preferences is essential to get the right one.

Now, let’s explore the factors to consider when deciding which Nintendo Switch to buy.

Nintendo Switch Models

There are three Nintendo Switch models that you can choose from: the original Nintendo Switch, the Nintendo Switch Lite, and the Nintendo Switch OLED Model. But what are the differences between them?

Original Nintendo Switch: This one is the most versatile model. It costs $299.99 and it can be played in docked mode or on the go. It has the largest screen, at 6.2 inches, its battery life is from 4.5 to 9 hours, and it has 32GB of internal storage.

Nintendo Switch Lite: This model is the most affordable and portable version of the Switch. It is smaller and lighter than the original Switch, as it has a 5.5-inch screen. However, it cannot be docked to a TV, it doesn’t have detachable Joy-Con controllers, its battery life is from 3 to 7 hours, and it has 32GB of internal storage.

Nintendo Switch OLED Model: This one is the newest model. It has a 7-inch OLED screen, a wider kickstand, a built-in LAN port, and 64GB of internal storage. However, it is also the most expensive model, costing $349.99. Its battery life is from 4.5 to 9 hours.
