Why do I get reduced XP in CS:GO?

XP reduction in CS:GO typically happens when you've been playing a LOT in one week. There's a weekly XP bonus that resets every Wednesday. Once you use it up, XP gains slow down to prevent grinding. So, if you're marathoning sessions, that might be why. Chill a bit, wait for the reset, and you'll be back to racking up XP in no time!

Honestly, it just feels like Valve's telling us to go outside for once. But really, it's to balance the game and keep it fair for everyone. Happens to all of us, so no worries.

Reduce your expectations, not your XP! Seriously though, it's just Valve's way of combating bots and grinders. Keep playing and it'll reset.
