Had the same problem and realized my PC was overheating like crazy. Cleaning out the dust and making sure my cooling system was working properly did wonders. Also, consider using a cooling pad if you're on a laptop.

So, your CS:GO is throwing a freeze party, huh? Well, there's a few usual suspects. First, check if your PC meets the game's system requirements. CS:GO isn't super demanding, but it still needs certain specs. Next, make sure your graphics drivers are up to date. Old drivers can cause all sorts of chaos. Lastly, peek into your game settings and lower the graphics settings a bit. Sometimes, pushing your PC too hard can make it freeze in protest.

I read somewhere that verifying the game files through Steam can fix a lot of issues, including freezing. It's like telling your game to get itself together. Right-click on CS:GO in your Steam library, go to 'Properties,' then 'Local Files,' and click 'Verify integrity of game files.' Worked for me!
