Why is CS GO lagging all of a sudden?

CS:GO could be lagging for a bunch of reasons, dude. First, check your internet connection, it might just be having a moment. Could also be your PC deciding it's had enough - maybe it's time to close some of those 100 tabs you've got open. Don’t forget to peek at CS:GO's servers themselves; they might be the ones having a bad day. Oh, and sometimes, after an update, things get a bit funky - give it some time or look for patches.

It's your internet, 100%. Just reset your router before blaming the game. Works like a charm every time.

Gotta disagree with the whole 'it's always your internet' take. Sometimes, the issue's with the game's servers. Happened to me last week, everything else was smooth but CS:GO was like playing a slideshow. Checked online and boom, others were having the issue too. Server problems, not internet.
