Why is CS:GO crashing when loading a map?

If CS:GO is crashing on map load, it might be an issue with your game files. Try verifying the integrity of game files through Steam (right-click CS:GO in your Steam library > Properties > Local Files > Verify integrity of game files). If that doesn't fix it, check if your graphics drivers are up to date. Outdated drivers can cause all sorts of chaos!

It's probably your mods or custom files. CS:GO can be picky with third-party files. If you're using custom skins, models, or maps, they might be the culprits. Remove them and see if that helps.

Had this issue last week. Turned out my antivirus was messing with CS:GO. Try disabling your antivirus or adding CS:GO as an exception. Worked like a charm for me!

Check your PC specs! CS:GO isn't too demanding, but if you're running on an old rig, it might struggle with newer maps. Another thing could be background apps eating up your resources. Close unnecessary programs before launching the game.

Honestly, just reinstall the game. If nothing works, a fresh install might just do the trick. It's a hassle but fixes most problems.
