Why is the CS:GO ranking system considered bad?

The CS:GO ranking system feels bad because it can be really opaque. You win some, you lose some, but figuring out exactly how each match affects your rank seems like rocket science. Plus, the grind is real! Climbing up the ladder feels like a marathon, especially when you get stuck in 'Elo hell' where it feels impossible to move up despite your best efforts. Not to mention, smurfs and hackers can really spoil the fun, making some matches feel unfair.

Honestly, the CS:GO ranking system isn't that bad. It tries to place you where you belong, skill-wise. If you're stuck, it probably means you need to improve. Play more, learn the maps, and work on your teamwork. It's a competitive game, so the ranking system is meant to be challenging.

It's all about perspective. Some see the CS:GO ranking system as a rite of passage. Grind, improve, and your rank will reflect that eventually. Sure, it has its flaws, but what ranking system doesn't?
