Why is Pokemon Violet considered bad by some players?

Honestly, calling Pokemon Violet 'bad' might be a bit harsh. The game brings a lot of new features to the Pokemon universe, like an open-world format that's a series first, giving players unprecedented freedom to explore the Paldea region. However, some players have reported performance issues and bugs that can detract from the experience. Plus, the change in format might not sit well with traditionalists who prefer the linear progression of earlier games.

I've played Pokemon Violet, and the biggest downsides are the technical glitches. Sometimes the game lags, especially when there's a lot going on on-screen. But it's nothing a few patches can't fix!

Bad? Pokemon Violet? Nah, it's all about perspective! Sure, it's got its share of bugs and sometimes the framerate drops harder than a Snorlax belly flop, but the game still offers a huge, beautiful world to explore and tons of new Pokemon to catch. It's groundbreaking for the series!

Not everyone's gonna agree, but I think the main issue with Pokemon Violet is expectation. Folks expected perfection, but got a game with a few flaws. Still fun, though!
