Why won’t my CS:GO open?

CS:GO won't steal your data, but your PC might be stealing your patience! Check for any pending updates for your OS or the game itself. Outdated game versions can cause launch issues. If all else fails, reinstalling the game could be your last resort.

Just restart your PC, works like magic most of the time. CS:GO can be picky with system resources, especially if you've had your PC on for a long time.

Try checking if your system meets the minimum requirements for CS:GO first. Sometimes, it just won't run if your specs are too low. If that's not the issue, make sure your game files aren't corrupted. You can do this by going into Steam, right-clicking on CS:GO in your library, hitting properties, then local files, and finally, 'Verify integrity of game files'. Steam will fix any corrupted files for you. Also, always double-check that your graphics drivers are up to date!

Just play CS2, it's better anyway.
