Currently, Tekken 8 doesn't have an in-game feature to change your player name, but you can always change your PSN/Xbox/Steam name. It will show up in-game!

As someone who plays Tekken 8 regularly, I can confirm there isn't an option to change your name within the game itself. You'd have to change your platform username.
