You can't officially refund Friends and Family payments, but you can ask the recipient to send the money back as a new payment. Fingers crossed they're nice!

Nope, unfortunately, you can't refund payments sent through PayPal Friends and Family. Once it's gone, it's gone!
Hot take: Just don't use Friends and Family for anything but, well, friends and family. No refunds is a feature, not a bug.
Friends and Family payments are intended for trusted people, so no built-in refund option. Be careful who you send money to!
