Short answer: Yes, but not directly. You need to find and chop up the bigger stumps and logs with a Steel Axe or better. Regular little trees just give you the standard Wood.

Honestly, just go for the big stumps and logs with a Steel Axe. It's the way to get Hardwood. Forget trying to 'convert' the small stuff.

Yep, you totally can! Once you upgrade your axe to the Steel level, you can start chopping Large Stumps and Large Logs that you find around your farm and in the Secret Woods. Those big pieces of wood are what give you Hardwood instead of the regular Wood. So, keep on upgrading that axe!

I've been playing for ages, and chopping those big old stumps for Hardwood is practically a daily ritual for me. Those big logs don't stand a chance anymore, and it's pretty satisfying, not gonna lie.

If you're a Stardew Valley player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
