Animals in Stardew Valley don't die of old age or disease, but they can be taken by wild animals if left outside overnight without protection. So, build a fence and make sure they're safe inside before you hit the sack!

Nope, your animals in Stardew Valley are pretty much immortal when it comes to aging or sickness. The only way they might meet their untimely demise is if you neglect them by not feeding them, or if they're left outside overnight and a wild animal attacks. Just keep 'em fed and tucked in their cozy barns at night, and they'll be fine!

Actually, it's worth noting that while your animals can't die of old age, negligence can lead to their disappearance. Keep those barn doors closed at night!
