They nerfed him a bit, but honestly, unless you're a pro, you might not notice a huge difference.

Hwoarang didn’t get nerfed that much. He’s still pretty strong if you master his mix-ups and pressure game.

Yeah, they did tweak Hwoarang in some of the updates. His damage output on certain moves got reduced, but he’s still a beast if you know how to use him!
