Actually, quality does make a difference when giving gifts in Stardew Valley. Higher quality items will generally increase the friendship points more than lower quality ones. So, if you're looking to impress someone in Pelican Town, splurging on a gold-star item might just earn you some extra brownie points!

nope, villagers don鈥檛 care about the quality of your gifts. They're just happy to receive something. Save those high-quality items for the Community Center or to sell for a good price.

I've been playing Stardew Valley for ages and from my experience, while giving higher quality gifts can boost friendship levels faster, it's not always necessary. The thought counts more to the villagers, so even a regular quality item can make them happy. Especially if it's something they love!

If you're a Stardew Valley player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
