Once a payment is complete, you can't cancel it directly. Your best bet is asking the recipient nicely for a refund.
Just go to 'Activity', find the pending payment, and click 'Cancel'. Easy peasy.
From experience, if you catch it while it's pending, just cancel it in the 'Activity' tab. Otherwise, good luck with that refund request!
