I've done this myself on my 2003 Evony. Start by relieving the fuel pressure (disconnect fuel pump fuse and run engine until it stalls). Then, find the fuel filter, usually under the vehicle near the fuel tank, and replace it with a new one. Simple as that!
Honestly, just take it to a mechanic. They'll have it done in no time and you won't get gasoline all over yourself.
