How close can you plant trees in Stardew Valley?
AssoilzieingThrow·8 months agoNo need to play a futuristic farmer guessing the distance—just remember fruit trees need a full 8 squares of free space around them to grow happy and healthy. Regular trees are cool with just a bit of elbow room, one tile's all they ask for.

Honestly, just space 'em out. Fruit trees = 3x3 space, other trees = 1 tile apart. Not hard, and your farm will look better for it.
In Stardew Valley, you gotta give trees their personal space to thrive. Plant them with at least one tile of space between them. This goes for both fruit trees and regular trees. Fruit trees need a clear 3x3 area to grow, but once they're fully grown, you can use the space around them. Regular trees just need that single empty tile around them.
Trees are not fans of the crowded life. Keep fruit trees 3 tiles apart from everything and regular ones just need one tile. Simple and your farm stays neat!
