Among Us blew up in 2020 thanks to popular streamers and YouTubers playing it and sharing their fun moments. It's the social deduction meets outer space that hooked everyone!

From personal experience, I can say Among Us got big because it鈥檚 super easy to play with friends and strangers alike. Plus, who doesn't love a good whodunnit?

It all started with a few big Twitch streamers and YouTubers picking it up during the pandemic. Once people saw how fun it was to betray their friends in space, it went viral!

Hot take: Among Us only got big because everyone was stuck at home and bored. Perfect timing, really.

Streamers like Pokimane, xQc, and Ninja brought massive attention to Among Us. Once the ball started rolling, it just couldn't be stopped!

If you're a Among Us player looking for extra stars or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in Among Us essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
