Attaching bait in Stardew Valley is super easy once you get the hang of it! First, you gotta have a fishing rod that can actually use bait - that means the Fiberglass Rod or the Iridium Rod, the Bamboo one won't work. Then, open your inventory, pick up the bait (left-click or tap and hold on mobile), and right-click (or tap) on the rod. Boom, your bait's attached. Happy fishing!

Just right-click the bait then your rod. If it doesn't work, you're probably using the Bamboo Rod, which doesn't support bait.

All these steps and no one mentioned you can't use bait with the first rod you get? Make sure you've upgraded to at least the Fiberglass Rod or you'll be scratching your head forever!

Honestly, attaching bait feels overrated. Just enjoy the chill vibe of fishing without it.

If you're a Stardew Valley player, you need to download the Playbite app!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:
