Just fish in the ocean at night during winter. Squids love the cold dark waters.

Catching a squid in Stardead Valley ain't too hard once you know the tricks. First off, squids are winter fish, so don't waste your time in other seasons. Head to the ocean between 6 PM and 2 AM - that's their party time. Make sure you're using at least a Bamboo Pole, though I'd recommend splurging on the Iridium Rod if you can afford it. Bait helps too, making those slippery squids a bit easier to catch. Patience, young grasshopper, you'll reel in that squid in no time!

Honestly, catching squids is overrated. Use your time in the game to pursue more fruitful ventures, like perfecting your farm or deepening village relationships. Squids will always be there, but Stardew Valley's charm lies in its endless other activities. Now go, make Grandpa proud!

If you're a Stardew Valley player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
